Book Review Monday is missing and the only person who seems to care is her friend Claudia. This story takes us through Claudia's journey to find her friend and still live the life of a "normal" 13-year-old. The story was a slow listen. The author drops clues into Monday's home life and the terror she and her siblings had to endure at the hands of the mother. This story if nothing else highlighted a couple of things for me. It highlights how adults often dismiss the concern and anxiety of children. It raises the question of community and government responsibility for our wellbeing. I will say the "after" that occurred once Monday's whereabouts were discovered was a bit confusing and a bit drawn out. At any rate, I think this is a worthwhile read or listen.
