Synopsis
Six months into taking over as the heads of the criminal empire, The Royals, it isn't long before London and Black realize they've bitten off more than they can chew. As they try to deal with the internet thug determined to "spread the hood news", they soon learn that the World around them is starting to crumble. With new and old enemies running loose, it's up to Black and London to keep their Family from succumbing to their inevitable demise. Follow the journey as they take you on the ride through the LA streets, and into the world of The Royals. Where the scandalous lives of those who lived the tale trade love for survival, all while leaving death around every corner. Welcome to the Cold War.

                                                          Book Review
Book two opens where one left off with London leaving her appointment and continues on to show us what transpired after she left. There are a few new players introduced, a baby, murder-suicide, and more. London once again places the weight of the Family's troubles on her shoulders. She does this as she continues to bemoan the fact that she doesn't want to be the Queen and she doesn't want to want Black.  Once London gets "in bed" with the enemy, she hopes this will get the Family out off the radar of the "alphabet boys" and local law enforcement. And while the identity behind the LA Confidential is revealed, it still begs the question how does the person know the inner workings of the organization? They are not in the inner circle.

I will say this sequel from a technical standpoint was much improved. There were no issues with flow, content, or spelling and grammar. Granted, I don't necessarily expect passion and romance in street tales, I do want chemistry and want the couple to be believable.  All that being said, I'm looking forward to seeing how this wraps up.
